I cannot stress enough how important intuition is to all of us.
It really helps us determine what is right for us to do vs what we should probably avoid doing.
But for most of us, our intuitions are weakened - decades of ignoring it has that effect on a skill. Which by the way, intuition is; a skill we’re all born with but take for granted.
I try to hone my intuition by listening to it regularly and whenever possible, honouring it by following it.
It’s not always easy but it has certainly opened many exciting doors for me along the way.
Most of us think of intuition as being one of several factors to consider when making big life decision - which it definitely is - but did you know that you can use intuition to make smaller decisions as well? Like whether you should cancel a dinner with a friend in favour for an early night in bed or even what foods you should be eating when you feel hungry.
I use my intuition a lot when it comes to how I eat - they call it INTUITIVE EATING - have you heard of it?
Intuitive eating is knowing and understanding what your body needs when it displays certain signals - like a sudden headache, extreme fatigue, excessive anxiety and so on.
Intuitive eating gives me a chance to get to know my body better every day and respect it by listening to it. Without intuition, this would be difficult to do on a daily basis.
